Job Description and Requirements
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH seeks to employ a qualified and reputable Administration Officer on a full-time contract to support the implementation activities within the German-Jordanian Programmes “Solar Cooling in Industrial and Commercial Sectors (SCICS)” and “Phasing out of Methyl Bromide in Agriculture in Jordan”.
The programmes are being implemented by GIZ, the Jordanian Ministry of Environment (MoEnv), the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and the Ministry of Energy (MoE) and other national authorities, on behalf of and funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. SCICS is part of the International Climate Initiative (ICI) of the German Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
The successful candidate will work closely, on a day-to-day basis, with the counterparts in the MoEnv, MoA and MoE. He or she will be part of the project teams, provide support for all project administration activities and full project office management. The successful candidate will be based in the GIZ project offices within the MoEnv.
Secondary school, diploma from reputed secretarial college or similar
At least 3 years of professional working experience in a similar position, Experiences in project administration, bookkeeping, cash management, procurement etc.
